Application.RunCalculation "Solution Exception error" [SOLVED]

Hi,

I am getting this solution exception on RunApplication. It executes the analysis just fine, calculating displacements in FEM design, and these are visible withing the FEM design window. However the FEM design window does not close again, and the RunApplication throws this error.

Any ideas where to look?

Hi all,

The issue has been solved, and it was within the definitions of the load cases - we had defined the non-structural dead loads and structural dead loads as two different load cases. It did not seem as though FEM-Design was accepting this, combining them into the same load case solved the issue.

Would it be possible for you to share the part of the script that it was giving the issue?

We should send a better error message to the users if that happen :slight_smile:
