Hi!
This component seems to start a FEM-design window which automatically closes after some seconds. The component consumes 4.5s for this. Is it supposed to be like this?

As you have spotted, the specific functionality requires FEM-Design to open.
I do agree that it is taking a large amount of time but, fortunately, LoadGroupsToLoadCombination should run only once in 99% of our user scripts.
Are you facing any issue?

Yes, I got some issues but have now solved it by disabling the component with Metahopper.

Actually, it starts to get annoyhing, and my “solution” does not work as I thought.
Something makes the live link very buggy…
“1. Solution exception:Access to the path ‘C:\Program Files\Rhino 8\System\FEM-Design API’ is denied.”
Depending on your workflow, LiveLink will try to trigger the other components and it might create some problem.
LoadGroupToLoadCombination is called after or before a livelink functionality?
If you disable LiveLink, can you use the LoadGroupToLoadCombination component? Can you tell me the step to reproduce the bug?
The bug is not always reproducable, and it seems once again that I have managed to solve it for the moment by simplifying some things…

From the next release, LoadGroupToLoadComb should become more stable. I have fixed a little bug that happen only in few cases. If you encounter the issue, again, try to reproduce the step so that we can debug 
I have encountered it again now. Really cannot say what is the issue.
Sometimes, two to three instances of FEM-design open up and LoadGroupToLoadComb is often red. I think a live session through teams or team viewer wouldn’t be a bad idea…
